Our 4”x4” Bordered Gauze Dressings can be used on small to medium-sized wounds with light to moderate amounts of drainage. These flexible dressings conform to hard-to-dress wound surfaces, ideal for tricky areas such as elbows and heels.
These NuMed Bordered Wound Dressings are also often used to cover healing surgical sites.

How to Apply Bordered Gauze Dressings
- Clean with wound cleanser or saline, pat dry
- Apply primary dressing if indicated
- Select appropriate size Bordered Gauze Dressing, ensuring center pad fully covers wound
- Remove paper backing & place dressing over wound
- Change as indicated by level of drainage, or if wet or soiled
Uses for Bordered Gauze wound dressings:
